The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Poverty Research

Aims and Scope

The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Poverty Research considers poverty in many unexplored regions and countries across the world, bringing together the best international reflective and innovative scholarship by emerging and seasoned scholars on different aspects of poverty at micro-, meso- and macro-levels. The Encyclopedia aims to provides an in-depth thematic analysis of key topics pertaining to poverty research across the globe. Further the Encyclopedia will also examine the status of poverty research in different countries across the globe. This comprehensive Major Reference Work is the first attempt to strategically document the tertiary literature on Global Poverty Research across different regions.

We invite scholars, practitioners, educators and thinkers at all levels of their career across the globe to examine various concepts related to poverty research, its status, key methodologies, approaches and challenges in conducting research related to poverty and inequality.  Topics provided below are indicative and we are open to new topics and suggestions.
