The fellow will also have an opportunity to interact with an active interdisciplinary community of researchers in medical anthropology, disease history, mental health, bioethics, and global health. Region of specialization is open.

Applicants must be on track to receive a Ph.D. in Anthropology or a related field by May 2017 and must hold a PhD by June 15, 2017.

For Thomas Jefferson, learning was an integral part of life. The «academical village» was created around the assumption that learning is a lifelong and shared process, and that interaction between scholars and students enlivens the pursuit of knowledge.
