SRI2024 Scholarships for Early Career Scientists
Scholarships Available for Early Career Participants in Low- and Middle-Income Countries
The 2024 Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress, held in collaboration with Sustainability Science Days, has made a limited number of scholarships available for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) to support participation in SRI/SSD2024. The scholarship covers Congress registration, travel and accommodation.
Recipients must have an accepted session in the SRI/SSD2024 program. Support for the scholarships comes from the International Science Council (ISC). The ISC is a non-governmental organization with more than 245 members worldwide, and works at the global level to catalyze and convene scientific expertise, advice and influence on issues of major concern to both science and society. The ISC is a custodian organization of Future Earth. Custodian organizations are responsible for establishing and supporting Future Earth’s overall mandate, ensuring the fulfillment of its vision and mission, and safeguarding Future Earth’s core values.
SRI/SSD2024 will be held in Helsinki and Espoo, Finland, 10-14 June 2024.
The application deadline for all scholarships is 15 February 2024. Scholarship applicants will be notified in early March 2024.
